What is Five Pound Friday?
A donation of just £5 feeds 10 street dogs or cats a delicious, home-cooked meal. A few Fridays a month, we invite our wonderful Team Dogstar family to warm the hearts, souls (and bellies) of Sri Lanka’s hungry street animals for the ultimutt Friday feeling!
What started out as an urgent appeal to guide these dogs and cats through lockdown has transformed into a staple part of the work we do. And it’s powered by the big hearts of animal lovers like you.
The Meals on Three Wheels service
Your Five Pound Friday donations go towards creating hundreds of home-cooked dog and cat friendly meals. Every day, our feeding team head out in a little blue tuk-tuk to deliver your dinners to the animals who need them most. We call it the Meals on Three Wheels service!
