What is happening?
Fuel costs are rising globally, pushing up the cost of everything we do to help street dogs and cats in Sri Lanka.
Our mobile clinic travels around the country carrying out life-changing spay and neuter operations. But with fuel prices up by 25%, and a fuel rationing system in place, it’s becoming harder to reach every dog who needs us.
At the same time, tourism has dropped by 30%, placing extra pressure on local communities. Street dogs in Sri Lanka rely on the kindness of the people around them, but when tourism falls and the economy is under strain, even the most dedicated families can no longer afford to help.
We’ve seen this happen before, and when it does, street dogs and cats pay the price.
Your support helps us keep going when the world makes it harder – helping to feed hungry dogs, keep our mobile clinic on the road, and deliver life-saving care to the animals who need it most.
What your donation can do
A gift of £15 could feed a hungry street dog or cat for a whole month, providing them with nutritious, home-cooked meals they can count on.
